Description

Step off the beaten path and into the heart of rural Paraguay, where tradition is not preserved in museums, but lived every day. This immersive experience invites you into the home workshops of artisans who carry on centuries-old traditions—woven lace, handmade ceramics, filigrana jewelry, ceremonial masks, and more—not as hobbies, but as a way of life.

You’ll meet families who work side-by-side across generations, to produce beautiful and functional pieces deeply tied to their heritage. Share moments of connection in shady courtyards, watch as skilled hands turn raw materials into works of art, and try your own hand at traditional techniques under the guidance of patient masters.

This isn’t a tour of shops. It’s a chance to understand the rhythms of daily life in the countryside, to witness the pride and collaboration behind each handmade item, and to experience Paraguay's cultural richness through personal connection and quiet moments of shared creativity.
